Reading Unplugged is a new music podcast based in Reading.

 

This month Charlie bumped into a new band at Treehouse Reading who will be performing at this month’s Caversham Festival. They have risen from the ashes of their previous musical guise as Violet Class, now known as Thurst. Charlie also has a chat with Niall Norbury – the founder of Alt Reading who explains its purpose, the joint collaboration with Reading Unplugged, and plans for the future. Reading Unplugged’s reporter – Rhodders – gives his top 5 countdown of shows to go see at this year’s Reading Fringe Festival. Plus, new music from alternative rock band Bellyeyesmile and the brand new single from Reading’s number Drum and Bass ‘Digital Soundboy’, Benny Page.
